System Requirements

Performance may vary from user to user depending on each individual’s computer hardware and internet connection. For the best experience, we recommend the following settings.

System Requirements:

  • CPU (Processor):

    • For Macs: Any Apple processor (e.g., M1, M2, etc.).

    • For PCs: Any Intel i9 or Xeon, Any 11th generation or higher Intel i7 or i5, AMD processors with 16+ cores

  • RAM (Memory): 16+ GB RAM

  • GPU (PC only; GPUs are part of any Apple Processor): 4+ GB VRAM (if applicable) Intel Iris Plus equivalent or better

Operating Systems

Gather supports the Mac and Windows operating systems that still receive security updates. At this time, that includes:

  • macOS 13 or above

  • Windows 10 or above

We recommend using the latest version for the best experience with Gather.

Gather on Linux is not currently supported. If using a Linux machine is necessary, we recommend accessing Gather via Google Chrome. The Gather Desktop App and Gather via Firefox are known to have performance issues on Linux at this time.
